Beautifully written poem....with well expressed thoughts.....specially the last lines, which are always in my mind....that whenever I feel like sharing, the one with whom I wanna share is not in the horizon.....
I have posted a comment in response to your comment on my post Dard aur muskurahat. Please check.
Thanks for the suggesstion. The reason I didn't write " Khuda aisa dard aur do jo...." is that i just wanted to highlight that after a point of saturation one learns to hide the pain behind smile and laughter. So here I am asking for that little pain to reach the saturation point. It is not related to kind of pain.
Nice poem.....till date I have been a typical feminist, but u have really shaken my thoughts. However, I am against males just because of their unacceptable behaviour and the domination power they have inherited ...God knows from where....but this is another perspective. When it comes to education, I guess there should be no reservation, neither on basis of caste nor on gender....infact not on any basis for that matter....it is the gender neutrality rather equality that has to be injected in peoples minds....only then we would be able to tackle this dilema rather the evil of inequality....
P.S. I loved the title of your poem 'Dile-mama' - dilemma of a mama ;)
That was a nice classification rather divide between the theories followed by believers and atheists. But, I guess we cannot divide people on this basis. For Instance, I keep on shifting from one to another theories. Its something like when I get something to my desires, then its my hard work...and when I don't then its the deed of God, hard luck u see......he has snatched it away from me and he sleeping and so on ...I know its a bit witchy on my part, but I guess there are more people in the same lot.....
That was a tragic story...may the soul rest in peace.
But yes, mother's touch or 'Vatsalya' as u mentioned is above everything. It is one thing that can relieve you from any pain, any tension. I often ask my mom to keep her hand on my forhead and once I have her hand on my head, I forget all all my problems. It takes me to entirely different world.
Yes, I agree that the story is depressing. It ought to be! The whole motive behind was to highlight a situation which forces or can force a women to become a whore.....and I don't think anyone would happily become a whore....she must have gone through a reverberating pain and depression to take such a difficult step....
